I just took a trip to the radical Christian section of Tumblr and I’ve never been more terrified in my life. Some memorable quotes:

• Clearly men cannot do what they want with their penis when they force it on a woman who does not want sex. Just like a woman cannot force death on a child who wants life and purpose in the world, just because she owns her uterus!
• I hope [Santorum] faces Obama in September. I really do, he’s amazing. 
• I’m so tired of people being allowed to promote the homosexual lifestyle as normal, women as equal to men, yet when a traditional point of view is brought up people have to attack us right away.

People have a right to their own opinion but the fact that a number of young women are being raised on these beliefs truly scares me.

Yep, that shit’s pretty strange, but rigorous brainwashing is pretty damn powerful. Internalized misogyny will be going strong as long as religion exists.
